'RAW' box-office collection Day 11: The John Abraham and Mouni Roy starrer collects Rs 80 lakh on Monday

John Abraham starrer espionage thriller 'Romeo Akbar Walter' starring Mouni Roy as the female lead has continued to fare poorly at the box office, despite no tougher competition at the box office this week. The film also fared poorly at the box office in its first-week collection. Written and directed by Robbie Grewal, the film is set against the backdrop of the India-Pakistan war of 1971. The film which hit the screens on April 5 had opened to mixed reviews.
According to the latest report on the Boxofficeindia.com, on Monday, the film has managed to rake in a total of Rs 80 lakh on its eleventh day at the box office. The film has managed to collect a total of Rs 35.94 crore in eleven days at the box office.

FYI, the film has raked in a total of Rs 29.50 crore in its first week at the box office.

The plot of the film revolves around a bank cashier (played by John) who is recruited by India’s foreign intelligence agency - the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). He operates as a secret agent in PoK (Pakistan occupied Kashmir) during the events leading up to the 1971 Indo-Pak war which led to the liberation of Bangladesh.

The film also stars Jackie Shroff, Mouni Roy, Raghubir Yadav, Sikander Kher and Suchitra Krishnamoorthi in pivotal roles.
