Chandrababu Naidu sitting on deeksha in Delhi is like a killer who asks right for the victim: Jaganmohan Reddy

HYDERABAD: YSRCP leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Saturday met Andhra
Pradesh governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan in the city and said
as many as 58 lakh bogus votes in the state should be weeded
out.
He also complained to the governor about the alleged misuse of
state machinery and police by chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu
with an eye on returning to power in the next elections.
Speaking to the media after meeting the governor, Jaganmohan Reddy
said he had brought to his notice all that he had put forward
before the Election Commission of
India recently about the manner in which the TDP government in
AP was misusing the state machinery. “In the name of many official
surveys, those who did not vote for the TDP in the last elections
are being identified and their names are being removed from the
voter lists,” Jaganmohan Reddy alleged.
In response to questions about Chandrababu Naidu’s ‘deeksha’ in
Delhi on February 11 to demand special status for Andhra Pradesh
from the Centre, Jaganmohan Reddy said: “Naidu sitting on a deeksha
is like a murderer demanding
justice for the victim.”
Jaganmohan Reddy said it was Chandrababu Naidu himself who was responsible for Andhra Pradesh not getting special status. “It is unfortunate that Naidu became the CM of the state. He himself argued in the assembly that special status for AP was not necessary and that a special package was what he was getting from the centre for the state,” he recalled.
“Chandrababu Naidu asking for special status for AP is like the devil quoting the scriptures. The man who argued against special status now wants to sit on a deeksha in Delhi for it. That is the kind of man he is,” he commented.
He recalled that Naidu had said at a press conference he had addressed on January 27, 2017 that the BJP government at the Centre had done for AP much more than it had done for any other state.
“He even challenged anyone to disprove him,” he said. Jaganmohan Reddy pointed out that for four years, Naidu has sailed with the NDA at the centre with the TDP being part of the ministry.
“We are aware of him hobnobbing with Arun Jaitley and being seen as close to the centre. He has now taken a U turn and expects people to believe that he really is interested in getting special status for AP,” he said.
