‘ Judges now looking for justice of people ’
NEW DELHI: Congress chief Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday intensified
his attack on PM Narendra Modi, accusing him of
favouring businessman Anil Ambani in the Rafale fighter deal,
saying he couldn’t even “make a paper plane”. “Anil Ambani has
never made an aeroplane in his life. Give him a piece of paper and
he cannot even make a plane out of it,” said Rahul in his address
to a rally in Ahmedabad after the CWC meet.
Rahul accused the dispensation at the Centre of destroying the country’s constitutional institutions. “For the first time in the history of India, four judges of the Supreme Court went to the press and said that they are not allowed to do their work. Generally, people go to the Supreme Court for justice but in today’s India, judges are going to the public and asking for justice,” he said, referring to the press conference by the SC judges in January last year.
