Mumbai: Fire breaks out in the Minister's bungalow on Malabar Hill
MUMBAI: A fire broke out on Monday night at Maharashtra cabinet
minister Girish Bapat's official residence
'Dnyaneshwari', located at Malabar Hill. Fire brigade officials
said the blaze erupted in the servants' quarters at the ground
floor of the bungalow.
The site of incident is located in the vicinity of Varsha Bungalow, which is the official residence of Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis.
According to officials from BMC's disaster management unit, the fire erupted at around 9pm. Fire engines and water tankers were immediately rushed to the site.
"We were able to control the blaze in a few minutes. Nobody was injured in the incident," said an official.
