Robert Vadra urges people in India to keep Priyanka Gandhi 'safe'
NEW DELHI: Robert Vadra on Monday took to
extended his good wishes to wife Priyanka Gandhi and urged the
people "to keep her safe" as she attended her first roadshow after
being appointed as Congress general secretary, kickstarting 2019 general
election campaign from Lucknow.
Referring to Priyanka with nickname, 'P', Vadra appreciated her many roles that she has played in her personal life.
"My Best wishes to you P, on your new journey of working in Uttar Pradesh and serving the people of India. You have been my best friend a perfect wife and the best mother to our Children," he wrote.
Calling the political atmosphere "very vindictive and vicious", Vadra said that it was Priyanka's "duty to serve the people", as he prayed for her safety.
"... But I know, it’s her duty to serve the people and Now we hand her to the people of India. Please keep her safe. 😊🙏", he wrote.
Vadra had addressed Priyanka as 'P' in a similar post earlier Congratulating her after Congress had announced her political debut in January.

Vadra has been called for questioning by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) over past few days for money laundering and alleged links with a controversial arms dealer.
On February 7, Priyanka Gandhi dropped off her husband at the Enforcement Directorate office in Delhi and also picked him up after his questioning.
