Kozhikode Corporation gets a new hospital for veterinary hospitals
KOZHIKODE: Cabinet minister K Raju on Saturday inaugurated the new
building of the Byepore Veterinary
Hospital in Kozhikode.
Addressing a gathering Raju said that required steps will be taken to upgrade the centre as polyclinic to provide all the diagnostic services to pet animals.
He directed the corporation authorities to submit a proposal pertaining to required steps.
Kozhikode corporation authorities constructed the three-storey building with advanced facilities to provide sophisticated treatment to pet animals. The building constructed at a cost of Rs 1.5 crore has facilities such as air-conditioned operation theatres, kennels, portable digital X-ray facility, ultrasound scanning, automatic heamoanalyzer, farmers training hall, separate out patient sections for small and big animals, administrative offices, edical store and a laboratory.
