Vicky Kaushal:" I want to work with every director"
Vicky Kaushal, who is set to give yet another enthralling
performance in 'Uri', said an interview with TOI, that he wants to
work with every director.
The film bravely brings back the real-life phase of the surgical strikes of 2016 carried out by the Indian Armed Forces. When asked about that if he is setting his sights on any director in the future? "I want to work with every director," the 'Raazi' actor said.
Vicky has started his career in Bollywood as a lead actor with the film 'Masaan' and he has also worked in films like 'Sanju', 'Manmarziyaan', 'Zubaan', 'Raman Raghav 2.0' and he will be seen next in Karan Johar's multi-starrer period drama 'Takht'. With so many versatile roles up his alley, Vicky states that it wasn't always intended. "I just got the opportunities to work with great versatile directors. As an actor, everybody aims to take different roles and try to do justice with each and every role but the directors guide you a little bit, you do hard work little bit, they make done by you," Vicky said.
'Uri' was Vicky's most exhausting experience on a set. He said,
"It was the most exhausting experience I ever had, firstly the prep to give like six to seven-month prep time to a film, I have never done that for any other film. And two and half months of continuous shooting which 35 days out of 50 days we shot were action days. It was really tiring but in retrospect, you wonder if you will ever again get a chance like this, then you feel it's finished and you're alive. But today is an emotion that only gives you the strength that the film's release is coming. Of course it's nerve breaking, the film will work or not will people watch it or not. But we know for a fact we don't have more than this to give the film. We have given our best, it's all on audience now if they like it or not.
